<p>When I took photos of the hostas,<br>I remembered how I didn’t like them<br>when I was a little kid, how I thought<br>their flowers were wrong somehow,<br>poking up from their big fat leaves<br>on those tall sticks like that<br>and how I now find them exquisite and dear,<br>and hope, as I adjust the angle of my camera,<br>that I can capture a whisper of their grace.</p>
